I took the dogs out this evening after watching tonight's episode of Heroes, and they turned into Sylar! I guess there was a possum or something under the deck because they both went nuts. Rather than stay there with them barking I dragged them off to the front of the house to do their business. While on the way there though Oliver decided he was going to pick up the baby possum that I didn't see sitting there. He dropped it, and then immediately picked it back up. Luckily he listen when I told him no and he tossed it off to the side. Had to take the dogs to the front door and ring the bell so Natalie would let us in. Then I went back out with a flashlight and didn't find a thing, I guess the little one lucked out and didn't get his back broken, as he must of run off when I got the dogs...
Well Natalie, Auntie Carol and I made it on TV tonight. We went down to Fenway to get a few Red Sox jackets today. We figured it would be easier to buy them today rather than fighting the opening day crowds tomorrow. After the jackets we went into the ticket office because Carol wanted to try to find some printed schedules. On our way out of the ticket office the guy from Channel 5 news was there, I made eye contact with him and could tell he was ready to ask a question. Natalie ran away but I grabbed Auntie Carol and we reeled Natalie back into the fold. He asked us a few questions about if we had just gotten tickets, if we were big fans, etc. We got home right at 5pm so we turned on the news. After the 5 o'clock news we figured perhaps we weren't going to make it on the air. Well about 25 minutes into the 6 o'clock news we ended up on TV! We did get it taped with the VCR, now the task is to get it digitized, though it'll probably take a few days as i'll have to make a dupe of the VCR tape and take it home to STL, then digitize it there. The clip was mostly me, but also cut to Auntie Carol when she said we went to Game 4 in St. Louis in 2004, then it cut back to me and the sportscaster cut over the audio and said "before you come to any conclusions this is his aunt, and this is his new wife" after going to a shot of Natalie. Natalie's goal for Opening Day is to make it on TV...
Natalie and I are taking our first trip out of town together (after the honeymoon) as a married couple. We're headed to Boston tomorrow, until Wednesday. The main reason for the trip is Opening Day at Fenway, to watch the Red Sox beat the Seattle Mariners! We'll also be doing some touristy things, things I haven't done in Boston in probably 20 years, and things Natalie has never seen. Photos coming next...
Thank you cards will be going out shortly, but we wanted to publicly thank those who left us the flowers, and some of the cash in the card box. There was also a beautiful picture frame without a name/card on it. Thank you for those items. Chris &...

We thought we got everything out of the house tonight, but realized we left a BBQ Grill and large dog cage on the back porch of the old house. So, we'll head back there tomorrow and get those last few items. I'm really ready to be done moving, and I know my back is ready for that as well! The garage is now full, with the 78 280z, car parts, appliances, bookshelves, etc. I hope to get it all organized this coming weekend so I can start tearing into the 78 and get rid of that car as soon as I can so I can bring home the 73 240Z that's in storage right now. Check out www.project240z.com for information on my project...

Natalie and I are half moved. The good half I guess. Most of her stuff, and some of my toys, the office, computers, and TV. Hope to have the rest of the stuff moved over this weekend with the assistance of a moving company from here in town. The new place is nice, though needs some work! Nothing major, I'm going to run some ethernet cables tomorrow night so that I can setup a server in the basement, and have the XBox, computers, Tivo, etc wired up to the network as well. ...
Well we have power at both houses now. We took a few loads over to the new place last night, including out bed, and stayed there last night. Tonight we'll do a few more loads. We're trying to line up some movers to get the rest of the big items on Saturday, we hope to have all the smaller items done before then. Cable guy comes tomorrow...
So here's a quick update on how we spent January 14th, 2007. First a recap of the last few hours of the 13th. Around 5pm Dom and family came over cause their house was without power. We watched a few movies, had some dinner. Around 10pm the power went out, not a big deal. I read some of my econ book (classes start wednesday) by candle light, then went to bed before 11pm. Around 1:30am or so all hell breaks loose. I'm a deep sleeper, but the sound of a freight train hitting your house will wake just about anyone. I woke, but had no idea what was going on, Natalie's running around yelling that a tree just fell on Dom and the baby. They come out into the hall and are alright, I put some clothes on and head to the backdoor, Natalie's outside yelling at the neighbors, who are also outback yelling back, yelling in a panic, not in anger. One of their trees had taken a bit of a fall, and it decided to take down 2 of our trees, and all three of them decided to find a new home on top of our home. The neighbors tell us we can sleep at their place, but after a while we figure out that Dom's power is back on at home by calling her phone so we decide to head over there. C and I went outside and looked around, saw the HUGE tree down on the house, gutter down off the side, and the other two trees that went with it. Only 1 branch actually came completely down, the two larger ones are both still have attached to the trees they came from. We spent the night at Dom's, called the landlord first thing in the morning, then headed out to the barn to make sure the horses had water as the barn was without power for most of Saturday and Sunday as well. After leaving the barn we went back to the house, talked to the landlord on the way who had already been to the house and left. They're calling a tree service, so hopefully they will come take away this mess soon. We've got quite a few pictures, the later pictures are of the neighbors house, the first ones are of ours. http://www.flickr.com/photos/chammond/sets/72157594480075667/ After we scoped out the house we started packing. We took two loads of things over to the new house, which happens to also still be without power. We're hoping to get everything moved by this weekend, and then be done with this house on Dauphine lane. I've also decided that when we purchase a house, I'm cutting down every damn tree that's anywhere close to anything, the house, cars, the pets, I don't care, give me a flat field with no...
Well we had some tree issues last night. 3 of them came down on the house, we're headed back home in a few hours to see what the damage is. We left and went to Dominique's house for the night, which had power for a few minutes, but lost it not long after we got...
